ON THE MISLEADING PAGES OF GERALD 'JOE' MORENO OF LAS CRUCES, NEW MEXICO
Gerald 'Joe' Moreno has placed a 'disclaimer' at the foot of most of his web pages, denying any connection whatever with the Sathya Sai Organization. Moreno has shown at times ease in obtaining information from both ordinary members and leaders alike, such as otherwise unobtainable news about an unpublicised court case immediately the ruling was given, which was known to top Sai Baba lawyers on behalf of Sai Baba’s leaders Goldstein, Bozzani, Krystal, etc., and the Rahm family who failed in their attempt to sue Sai Baba from the USA. Once Moreno had began attacking critics (mainly former devotees many of whom had given years of their lives to Sai Baba and his work), Moreno’s websites suddenly went from being cheap efforts to flash promotions with technical assistance on Google etc. This raises the question: Who may be financing Gerald Joe Moreno to work full time on that? He is constantly trying to protect the Sathya Sai Organisation through attacks on its critics. He strongly defends the now notorious Dr. M. Goldstein (about the BBC interview where he gave himself away as a bully and cover-up man). Moreno tried to brush aside the very damaging Hislop letters through obfuscating and futile nitpicking, even though scans of them are attested as genuine by the sworn affidavit of Dr Timothy Conway, who for years was a highly respected President of the Sai Organization in California. When Moreno stated (during a few years) that he personally believed (see scan) that Sathya Sai Baba did sexually abuse men, he still defended Sai Baba totally and attacked all those who have testified on his websites and on numerous bulletin boards - as he still does.
Gerald Moreno represents the only public defense of discredited Sai Baba and Sai Organisation VIPs (until the head of Radio Sai reproduced many of Moreno's arguments in a rambling, untruthful defense six years after a mass of allegations and other proofs came out against Sai Baba). The Sathya Sai Organization still dare not acknowledge that he is their Doberman, and none of them make any attempt to correct him, or to defend former respected friends of theirs (who left the Organization because of the exposures). They acquiesce to Moreno's work in silence, which fact alone robs them of all credibility as a spiritual or truth-seeking organization. Their complicity is further illustrated by the Sathya Sai Organizations' indirect support of Moreno's libels by having not criticised a weblink to his vishvarupa.com website on a major website page at http://www.saibabalinks.org/saibabapictures.htm, which has a hidden site owner, but which has long been allowed to post everything connected with Sathya Sai Baba - his entire publications, pictures, news and much more! Hence an officially approved undertaking but purposely kept undercover so as to try to avoid repercussions, no doubt of it! They know well who Moreno is, what he is doing and that vishvarupa.com contains defamatory pages and links to all Moreno's works. Moreno has also long since stated that he knows Dr. G. Venkarataman, the head of Radio Sai and the Heart-2-Heart website, both closely related to makers of a major Sai Baba website. See the page photo of the inset:-

Moreno is still relentlessly stalking all critics of Sathya Sai Baba, e-mailing any contacts or friends he can discover (not least through conscienceless Sai devotee helpers, especially one in Sweden). He tracks the exposé peoples' relations, their business or academic contacts and journalists to spread his lies in an attempt to cause trouble or ruin reputations, but in vain because his crude efforts are reported to those concerned and have so far been rejected by all. His dirt-digging mails obviously have the contrary effect to what he so badly wants. Some comment on his use of distorted photos of Sai critics as puerile or a sign of mental disturbance.
Some are surely wondering how this most unpleasant character looks, where he is from and what happened to him to make him such a fanatical, abusive and hypocritical defender of Sai Baba and all his supporters. He has previously strongly defended Sai Baba for some years even while he believed him to be a sexual abuser (See his declaration here). What sort of person would do that other than a very confused or mentally disturbed person? He was actually molested himself, as he describes in a carefully guarded way, though he thought it was a divine blessing! He has proclaimed that he does NOT believe Sathya Sai Baba is the avatar of the age, nor does he believe his claims of omniscience and so on. He literally makes a big deal out of his claim that he is NOT a follower, not even a member of any Sai group or the Orgaization! Yet he posts on the blog <satahyasaibaba.wordpress.com> the most wide-ranging set of accounts praising Sathya Sai Baba, and for the things he claims not to believe himself!

Joe Moreno originally had the photo of himself as above on his website, but he he removed it very soon after he began his attacks on ExBaba and associates. Why did he feel the need to do this? Is he worried that he could be recognised by people in the Sai movement when he goes to India etc.? It is true that thieves like anonymity and the dark, and it seems this also applies to thieves of copyright materials and defamers who fear consequences. By engaging in debate as a public figure on the www, he has - according to US law - to put up with his face (or rather his own 'bust') and chosen setting being exhibited by participant and observer parties. It is only Moreno who wishes to withhold the truth (about Sathya Sai Baba) from the public, by trying to sideline all attention from him to his critics (constantly using argumentum ad hominem i.e arguing against the man, not the facts) and caricaturing them, thus obscuring the facts presented about the guru. He makes many false allegations about their real opinions, their pasts lives, their religious or other affiliations and their present supposed 'sins'. Moreno loves to quote out of context and twist meanings, distort and nitpick on side-issues. The reason why almost no critics link to his webpages is the same as mine - we all consider his libels and his pitiless attacks on the truthfulness of all innocent victims of Sai Baba's deceptions and worse are deep below the level of common decency and below contempt. Having checked with the webmasters of saiguru.net, exbaba.com and Robert Priddy, I can say that at NO TIME did any of them block Moreno or anyone else from linking to them. They have no knowledge of any link ever being made to 'hack pages' from these websites (or even how to do it, they say). So this claim of Gerald 'Joe' Moreno (aka joe108, vishvarupa108, JM108 etc.) is a purposeful lie, because he knows it is not true and he hopes that it will pass as an excuse not to link to his opponents far more balanced, well documented and properly reasoned websites and pages, which he dare not link to!
